Thank you so much for the lovely messages you have written on cleansing with salt and the best types to use for people to try.
I always seem to be having bad energy around me, I am working over seas originally from Australia and seem to have bad energy in this building that is office which is also my accommodation.

I often mop all the floors with salt and put salt around the window sills and corners of the building , I also sprinkle salt out side from time to time and time to time wash my self with salt.

Is there any thing else you could please suggest to help me rid of all these negative energy, really has affected my life in a bad way over the years till now.

While Epsom salt has some great uses, it can’t be substituted for Himalayan or sea salt when it comes to energy cleansing.

Epsom salt comes from a naturally occurring mineral called epsomite and is 100% magnesium sulfate. So it doesn’t share the same chemical or energetic properties as halite, or natural salt.

Can I use Epsom Salt instead of sea or himalayan salt?

Hi Sharin,

You can cleanse as frequently as you’d like. If you’re really struggling with some energetic issues, you may want to do it several times over a period of days or weeks.

In many cases, doing it once and then as needed is just fine.

For regular energetic health maintenance, you may want to do it once a week or every month. Or you could do it every quarter, for example on the solstices and equinoxes.

Just follow your intuition and do it as often as it feels right to you!
